NORTHERN VOICES
Making soundwaves across the north of England
The Northern Voices is a group of six musicians who all met through university. Currently, they’re taking the north of England by storm through their busking, bringing classical music and highly trained voices to the streets. This is, however, only the start of their journey.
Our Story
5 classically trained singers, 1 pianist (who also sings). They mix and match in different duos and are also brilliant solo acts who quickly won the hearts of the people of Liverpool, York and Chester with their busking.
Founded in 2024, Northern Voices is a collective of young musicians with lofty ambitions, brought together by their shared love of music. Their vision is to create a platform for sustainable performance with a lasting impact on the industry.
Like the Three Tenors (Pavarotti, Domingo, and Carreras), each of the Northern Voices have solid, standalone careers. When coming together, however, an unparalleled environment for music-making is created.
Down the line, they aim to use their platform to provide opportunities for other young musicians to break into the industry under the Northern Voices umbrella, by putting on concerts where these young musicians are guest performers. This is their way of paying it forward.
